Pants Labyrinth Improv - Meet Chris Galloway
Chris began his improv journey on a hot August night in 2015. Wanting to get out of the house and meet some new people, he decided to sign up for Shut the Front Door's Improv 101. And the rest is history! He did indeed get out of the house AND meet some new people! After catching the improv bug, he ran through Shut the Front Door's full curriculum, culminating in a double-dose of the Master Series classes and performances.
After joining Pants Labyrinth in late 2016, Chris began practising with the troupe and made his on-stage debut in January 2017, to much fanfare. Since then, he's been bringing his scene commitment, middling accent-work, and unrelenting positivity to stages across Southwestern Ontario.
Being the token millennial in the troupe, Chris is no stranger to internet culture and that has hugely influenced his style of comedy. From SNL's Digital Shorts to the McElroy brothers on their advice podcast "My Brother, My Brother, and Me" to Scott Aukerman and his rotating stable of improv guests on "Comedy Bang! Bang!" (including Paul F. Tompkins, Adam Scott, Jessica St. Clair, and Harris Wittels).
